Forget Whacko Jacko - It's A Whacko From Taiwan

Jacko Is A Scarecrow OR A Scarecrow Is Jacko?? - Whichever way you look at it, the crows must be freaking out, man!!

Many (some) of us would be old enough to remember Michael Jackson's portrayal of the Scarecrow in the 1978 movie, 'The Wiz' - the musical version of 'The Wizard Of Oz'. If that wasn't scary enough, a diehard Taiwanese fan of Jacko uses scarecrows to immortalize the late King of Pop.

In the fields of Changhua County, Michael Jackson is still making his moves. Lee Ping-Hsing said that "I thought that since Michael is good at 'grabbing his bird,' I'd invite Michael to grab birds in our fields."

The scarecrows are made from wooden skeletons for the body and sponges for the faces. They are dressed and posed to resemble Jacko in various 'signature moves' from his video clips.

Mr Lee said, "I was yelled at by my grandpa. He said his spirit could come back and haunt us, but I think it would be nice if Michael could come over."

And for those readers who've never had a chance to see 'The Wiz', here's a compilation of some of the coolest moments of the movie... 'EASE ON DOWN THE ROAD'!! (Also, how unbelievable is Diana Ross??)
