Did You Ever Want Your Very Own 'Mini-Me'?

Everyone who has seen Austin Powers cannot help but adore 'Mini-Me'... so have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a tiny version of yourself?

Thanks to a Japanese robotics company, anyone can now own their very own 'Mini-Me'!!

The company, 'Little Island', can create a copy of you in robot doll form.

Among other things, this little fella (or girl) can read the news and weather to you in an exact replica of your own voice.

The robotics company claims that all they require to create the 'Look A Like' doll, is to receive a photograph of the subject. The 'Mini-Me' will then be delivered about six weeks later.

The technology is actually quite complex in design. Although it looks simple enough on the outside, the doll contains 'state-of-the-art' technology (including, but not limited to: "interactive touch switches, microphone, camera, and multiple servo-motors for movement").

Your very own 'Mini-Me' can be plugged into your computer to download the latest news and weather. By using it's built in voice synthesizer to record your voice combined with voice recognition, it will speak exactly like you.

The Price?? - US$2,200... I wonder if I could sit him at my office desk to fool people, thereby allowing me more time at the pub??
